DENIS MINAMORA'S FINE ART PAINTINGS

My goal was to paint a story that would depict the life of a gondoleer.

If you look in his boat you will see lunch bag, the carpet that is drying on the stern deck before going in the cockpit, and the backrest that will adorn the passanger seat.

He is splicing and enjoying the solitude of his morning because behind him his work day is just beginning.

Probably my most difficult rendition of water to date. I used cotton balls to rough out the underwater colors with thin layers of pastels and then refined the ripples and added surface details with q-tips.
